Visible Light (Privacy): Visible Light is the amount of light that is able to come through the window either before or after the film is applied. The darker the window tint, the lower the percentage of light that is able to pass through. This is what gives you that sleek look along with privacy while still allowing you to easily see out your windows. UV Rays: Ultraviolet light waves are not visible to the human eye but are known to cause skin cancer over time and both fade and crack the interior of your car. At Obscure Window Tint we only offer two different kinds of film, Carbon and Ceramic, that both block 99% of UV rays. Keeping you, your occupants, and your interior safe. IR (Infrared): Infrared rays are what we feel as heat. Though not visible they are always felt when you get in a hot car or building that has been sitting in the sun. Heat in your car can be deadly but mostly uncomfortable, especially in the summer. Our ceramic film does something that no other film does, and it prevents those heat causing Infrared rays from entering the inside of your car. This means less wear on your A/C system, and no more scorching seats in the summertime.
